What is the status of the LX2160 software?
The LX2160 SW Status:
Ubuntu 20.04:
- Core Ubunto 20.04 based on U-Boot & DTS - Work fine and stable https://github.com/SolidRun/lx2160a_build
- Installation help Page https://developer.solid-run.com/knowledge-base/honeycomb-clearfog-cx-installation-and-tips/ (Also, There are Ubuntu image binaries & example to install Gentoo)
- Based on NXP sources, Kernel version 5.4.3, U-Boot 2019.10 (LSDK-20.04)
UEFI:
- Parent build repository for generating UEFI firmware for the LX2160a - SolidRun/lx2160a_uefi GitHub - SolidRun/lx2160a_uefi: Parent build repository for generating UEFI firmware for the LX2160a
- UEFI Working in progress - The networking stack isn’t working with the UEFI yet.
Kernel Mainline:
- Kernel Main Line working in progress (start supporting from 5.8.0) - linux/fsl-lx2160a-honeycomb.dts at master · torvalds/linux · GitHub
- Mainline is still waiting for some patches to fix SMMU problems. One set is for PCIe the other is for the networking bus
