Hello,

Can we trust the current sense value from the LTC3882? Specifically, is the IOUT_CAL_GAIN register configured correctly?

I’d like to measure the VDD current and see how it changes with frequency and the number of active cores. The value reported by the sensors command seems higher than expected.

Please review this post and see if it answers your questions. Sensors terminal output The IOUT_CAL_GAIN is unchanged from the default value.

I see. I thought it operated in dual-phase mode and that the sum of IOUT1 and IOUT2 would give the Idd. Instead, it turns out that IOUT1 alone provides the correct value.
