Another question : i tried to use the 6 ports switch.

When i do the command line ip addr i have :

In the DTS, there is eth0(cage sfp), eth2(port next to cage sfp) and eth1 with lan1,2,3,4,5,6, no eth3
What is the eth3?

How active,configure lan1-6 in etc/network/interfaces?

Same problem.
Always :

But when a i do the command Line lsmod i see the module mv88e6xxx.

I tried to give a static ip adresse to eth1. No more good.

Next to the usb port, you have the boardā€™s version : for me clearfog-A1 v2.2

If you have the V2.1, you have to do some hardware modifications.

My first choice would have been Ipfire, but Openwrt would be fine too.

At the moment to start and learn Iā€™m trying directly with cn913x_build so Ubuntu focal.
In this way, however, I can work with the system but I canā€™t find the 5 Lan ports (the LED doesnā€™t even light up when I insert the cable), the only port that works is the eth2 rj45 WAN.

FYI, vanilla 6.x mainline kernels work well with the Clearfog Pro hardware inclusive of the marvell switch. No need to mess with that old 5.15 branch.

Iā€™m using alpine, which uses ifupdown for network management, but you should be able to adapt to your system of choice. Remember that eth1 is the phy, and the switch ports, defined by the DTB, are effectively virtual interfaces. You merely have to bridge it all together.

Hereā€™s a snap of my interfaces and kernel version:

my problem was that the kernel didnā€™t load the modules and therefore no network!

I fixed it with the depmod -a command
