Clearfog PRO CN9130: networking LAN switch (1-2-3-4-5) - RJ45

Good morning everyone,
following the procedure SolidRun / cn913x_build I made the working toy! (OS Ubuntu)
Unfortunately I have difficulty managing switch LAN ports (RJ45 / 1-2-3-4-5).
Can you tell me what I have to do? The 5 lan ports do not turn on and the result of the logs (dmesg)

I thank you in advance for the time you will want to dedicate to me.

Maybe add the output of ip -s link ? when you say you can’t configure them, can you be more specific? like what are you trying to do and what error is showing up (if any)?

What I would like to do is have the 5 switch ports in bridg, so that I can configure the Clear fog pro with:

1 - eth2 → WAN port
2 - eth0 or eth1? → LAN port (1-2-3-4-5) I don’t know which one it is because the ports are not UP and RUN.

I am not very familiar with Ubuntu these days, but is it possible that netplan isn’t playing nice with the switchdev interface, eth2?

My guess is that you are booting with the wrong device tree (dtb). The network interfaces you are seeing are for the SFP+ port (eth0), the first RJ45 (eth1) and then the interface connected to the internal switch chip (eth2). With everything correctly setup, the missing ports will appear.

I too had come to the same conclusion but I don’t understand where I went wrong in the procedure.
I ran the script with the command:

BOARD_CONFIG=2 CP_NUM=1 ./runme.sh

and I got the two files:

ubuntu-cn9130-cf-pro-mmc:1:1.img
u-boot-cn9130-cf-pro-mmc:1:1.bin

moreover in U-Boot I set the parameters:

get_images=load mmc 1:1 $kernel_addr_r boot/Image; load mmc 1:1 $fdt_addr_r boot/cn9130-cf-pro.dtb; setenv root ‘root=/dev/mmcblk1p1’ rw; boot

However, I have not done the part of the procedure that U-Boot based on Marevll’s SDK could that be the problem?
If this were the problem, could you explain to me what the procedure is and what patches to copy? Thank you very much

hello all, is there anyone who can even tell me where I’m wrong and how to proceed to fix it?

my problem was that the kernel didn’t load the modules and therefore no virtual network!

I fixed it with the depmod -a command
