Hi everyone,
I am experiencing RTC problems on my SolidRun ClearFog CX board. Whenever there is a power outage for an extended period of time, I lose the system time. This issue occurs regardless of the Linux distribution I am using. Upon checking the kernel log, I noticed a warning message stating:
[6.176659] rtc-pcf2127-i2c 2-0051: oscillator stop detected, date/time is not reliable
Further investigation showed that the 7th bit at address 03h is set, as mentioned in the datasheet “PCF2129-3139706.pdf,” page 22. Additionally, the battery was measured at 2.9V without load, and the same problem was replicated on multiple SolidRun ClearFog CX boards.
I would appreciate any help in resolving this issue, as it is causing inconvenience and disrupts the system’s functionality. Thank you in advance for your support.
PS: reading out the registers yield:
