it is possible this is due to the kernel usb autosuspend code. Can you please test by adding usbcore.autosuspend=-1 to your kernel commandline? Thanks.

Hi, Thanks for the reply. I tested to change usb autosuspend in the bootargs as you adviced. I also tested by changing this in the linux defconfig. Nevertheless, none of this tests was successful.

oh, this is running the 5.4 kernel. Which image are you using for testing? The latest kernel release is 5.10 LTS
