We are experiencing issues when attempting to use a 10GTek ASF-GE-T SFP module. The steps and results are as follows:
We execute the command:
> sudo ls-addni dpmac.8
This completes without any error messages.
However, when we try to bring up the interface eth1 with:
> dchclient eth1
we encounter the following error output:
fsl_dpaa2_eth dpni.1: Adding to iommu group 2
fsl_dpaa2_eth dpni.1: Probed interface eth1
fsl_dpaa2_eth dpni.1 eth1: configuring for inband/10gbase-r link mode
fsl_dpaa2_eth dpni.1 eth1: validation of inband/sgmii with support 0000000,00000200,000062e0 failed: -22
sfp sfp-1: sfp_add_phy failed: -22
The SFP module we are using is 10GTek ASF-GE-T.
We tested with last stable image (lsdk-21.08, 2025-05-06_953878b) and last available build (2025-05-20_b88bd5d/) with the same result
