Hummingboard 8P Edge with Debian

Hello,

I have the Hummingboard 8P Edge dev kit for evaluation. I am familiar with debian based package management and the nvidia jetson platform. How can I explore this the Hummingboard edge devkit and the hailo accelerator without using yocto. I tried to use the debian images which allowed me to boot up but I wasn’t able to do more than login as I couldn’t get the ethernet to work. Should I expect the debian images for imx8m plus to work with this carrier board?

The Debian images do not have support for the new carrier yet. Yocto is the primary platform we are supporting for this device as it needs tight integration with Hailo’s BSP as well as our other partners.
