Hi, Is there a way to read the hardware revision of the COM? any Linux command line tool? Thanks!

There is not, it is silk-screened on the board. For large orders the SKU can be programmed to the CEX7 eeprom in TLV format along with the MACs but this is not the default for developer and samples.
