Examples of using Neural Processing Unit?

I have setup a hummingboard pulse board with the iMX8MPlus SOM running SolidRun Debian 11 - Release 7.

Is there were any generic example of running a python based neural network (Pytorch or Tensorflow) that leverages the NPU that are publicly available?

Currently the software needed to use the NPU are not packaged for Debian. If you download the prebuilt Yocto release, or build your own custom Yocto image you can follow NXP’s example documentation on using the NPU.
