Debouncing circuit for keypad interface

Hi Team,
We are using the keypad interface to the processor GPIO’s pins below mentioned details. We are facing when key is pressed the GPIO4_IO_24 is low but should be high incase if we remove the debouncing circuit (40.2k and 0.1uF) so GOPI4_IO_24 pin will be high state once you press key. Could you please confirm can we have debouncing circuit if need please suggest the RC value.

Sl no Display Board Processor Interface pin name
1 UP GPIO4_IO_24
2 DOWN GPIO4_IO_25
3 OK GPIO4_IO_26
4 HOME GPIO4_IO_21
5 ESC GPIO1_IO11

Can you please provide the device-tree, or at least the pin definitions you are using for this?
