# What are the different versions of the U-Boot images?

SolidRun provides a few different U-boot images (see [SolidRun Images](https://images.solid-run.com/IMX6/U-Boot/v2018.01/2024-09-13_19858de)). These images have different suffixes.  
What do these suffixes mean?

the suffixes are for the boot target media you intend to install the firmware on. SDHC, MMC either BOOT0 or BOOT1 hardware partitions, or SPI-NOR flash.
