# Pwm-fan of MACCHIATObin Double Shot

Hi,

I want to use the pwm-fan of MACCHIATObin Double Shot. Did anyone try that and make it work? I saw there are two patches [1]for clearfor-gt-8k. Not sure if they work in MACCHIATObin Double Shot. Thanks!

The PWM is driven directly from the PWM capable GPIO’s of the Armada 8040, so the ClearFog GT 8K configuration should be directly compatible with the Macchiatobin. The only thing that may be different is the actual GPIO. I believe the designs are the same, but can’t remember 100% from memory right now.

Just checked the schematics. The implementation should be identical to the ClearFog GT 8K, so just adopting those patches should work for you.

Basic test was did and it does work. More test will be done. Thanks!
