I was intending to install [OpenSuSE Tumbleweed](https://www.opensuse.org/#Tumbleweed) on my Honeycomb LX2K as it is [included in the Hardware compatibility list of OpenSuSE](https://en.opensuse.org/HCL:HoneyComb_LX2K) and ships with a fairly recent kernel.

I have used the `ee5c233` commit of [`lx2160a_uefi`](https://github.com/SolidRun/lx2160a_uefi/) from the [official builds](https://solid-run-images.sos-de-fra-1.exo.io/LX2k/lx2160a_uefi/lx2160acex7_2000_700_3200_8_5_2_sd_ee5c233.img.xz) flashed to microSD in combination [with an EFI build](https://download.opensuse.org/ports/aarch64/tumbleweed/appliances/openSUSE-Tumbleweed-ARM-GNOME-efi.aarch64-2021.07.13-Snapshot20210803.raw.xz) of OpenSuSE Tumbleweed based on [Snapshot 210803](https://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php/557958-New-Arm-Tumbleweed-snapshot-20210803-released!) on an USB drive.

When Grub tried to boot the kernel, I got presented with

```auto
## Anyone …
- … presently running OpenSuSE Tumbleweed on the Honeycomb LX2?
- … familiar with this specific error?
- … aware of what I am doing wrong?
Many thanks!
Your full log is showing that you are booting an LSDK version of u-boot, not the SystemReady ES edk2 based firmware. Please check the boot select jumpers on your CEX7 module and verify that it is configured to boot from the uSDHC card.
Thanks for pointing this out. In the meantime I have figured out that something must have gone wrong with the flashing of the `lx2160a_uefi` image. After zeroing out the complete microSD and flashing it again, the acutal UEFI booted up properly.
