# Image signing and encryption

Hi,

Is it possible to sign and encrypt the image, so the u-boot will not load 3rd party images?

Yes this is possible. We have some hardware specific notes regarding this on our developer website, and additionally you can use NXP’s Layerscape BSP documentation.
