# Hardware clock setting not working

As specified in the [documentation](https://solidrun.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/developer/pages/197494345/LX2160A+Software#Final-stages), I use “ntpdate [http://pool.ntp.org](http://pool.ntp.org)” and then “hwclock -w” to set the OS and hardware clock.

However, after every reboot the clock is set back in time.  
I checked that the battery voltage on the motherboard is close to standard value (2.99V against 3V).

Is there any way to fix this?
