# Bedrock R7000 + SX 4M2 -\> PCI passthrough?

Hello,

I’m the happy owner of a Bedrock R7000 running FreeBSD 14.x.  
I have a primary NVMe as main storage and a secondary NVMe in SX 4M2.

I wonder if it’s possible to install an Hailo-8 module in the M.2 key-E slot AND to use PCI passthrough to present this slot into a Linux VM.

Obviously passthrough must affect only that particular slot.

Is that possible?

I don’t know specifically regarding FreeBSD and PCIe passthrough. Passthrough will work for only a specific PCIe controller but it does require that the MMU is supported by the host OS.
