# Availability of 8GB version (CLEARFOG CN9130 PRO)

Hi
It is listed on the url below, up to 8GB of ram is available. However, I can only find the 4gb version on web store.
My questions are:
Was it a mistake?
Do you have plan to release the 8GB version at all?
When it is going to be available?

I intended to use it as a 5g router, need Linux kernel 5.17 or openwrt (saw post here, it seems that is not ready).

The 8GB of memory is the maximum that can be populated on the SOM. It does not mean we will produce them for developer samples. A customer ordering the required number of SOMs can request to have them fitted with 8GB’s of memory for their product.
